The Earth And Climate Initiative, A Global Synergistic Movement working for Conservation , Preservation And Healing Of Biodiversity, planted fruit trees in Thano Forest for Wildlife in Doiwala Dehradun .
Jamun, Mango, Guava, Amla were planted by the TEACI team .Dr Aanchal Sharma said we can reduce man animal conflict by planting locally grown fruit trees for the animals that enter villages when starving. This is very significant aspect to control conflicts

Where we urged ppl to plant one Sapling at home. Anku sharma ,writer /filmmaker and founder of The Earth And Climate Initiative said that many people from different states wanted to join us in the Plantation drive but couldn’t due to long distance etc we came up with #GlobalPlantationDrive . Where ppl had to plant a sapling click a picture and tag The Earth And Climate Initiative. Our quote was “let’s start from home to fight our biggest enemy Climate change”
#ComeForEarth We kept planting one Sapling each day. This movement was a big hit and many ppl took part planting saplings in their homes and around.
On 11th July on the eve of Dehradun 150th birth anniversary where Dehradun was announced as District Dehradun in 1871.
We again celebrated #GlobalPlantationDrive and urged ppl to go out and let’s get back our Green Dehradun.We so far have planted more than 50 saplings alone. This campaign will end when monsoons will finish.
We plan to Plant Peepal, Bargad in Landslide prone areas and pilkhin besides the road.
We will plant more locally grown fruit trees in jungles.We also plan on planting besides rivers as well.
