ECI reviews performance of Recognized National & State Political Parties which is a continuous process under the Symbols Order 1968
Since 2019, ECI upgraded status of 16 Political Parties and withdrawn current status of 9 National/State Political Parties
Aam Aadmi Party recognized as National Political Party
ECI withdraws status of three recognized National Parties (namely AITC, CPI & NCP) after following due process and providing sufficient opportunity of 2 Parliamentary elections and 21 State Assembly Elections.
Election commission of India reviews the recognised national political parties and regional political parties especially aam Aadmi party recognised as national political party while the three recognised national parties name AITC CPI NCP withdraws the status of recognise political parties now the election commission of India is reviewing recognised national political parties and regional political parties according their performance in the election the state election or National parliament election many parties of the other state have dismissed because their performance in sufficient for the national recognisation specially Rajasthan Madhya Pradesh Bihar paschimi Bangal and Uttrakhand Uttar Pradesh karnatak keral Tamilnadu Andhra Pradesh telangana Chhattisgarh Jharkhand Bihar and Goa Jammu Kashmir States and territories.
There are many political parties as regional political party that those contest in state assembly election as well parliament election but they can’t get the sufficient mandate so the eci decided to withdraws the recognisation and national party c CPI and NCP. Show the election commission of India review the status of political parties time to time and takes decision about the future of parties.
